Grandma's Tart a La Boulle

This is a very old French recipe just waiting to be reimagined by a great cook! Just the way grandma would have made it. Thank you Monti Babin for sharing your grandma's recipes with us.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup corn starch
Prepared dough (recipe below)
71/4 cup of sugar
Iquart milk
5 egg yolks (beaten)
7-13 oz can pet milk
2- teaspoons of vanilla
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350° F
Combine cornstarch sugar and small amount of milk in a pot until dissolved
Stir in beaten egg yolks, pet milk, and remainder of milk
Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thick
Remove from stove, stir in vanilla, pour into dough (see recipe below) lined pans
Cover with narrow strips of dough to form lattice
Flute the edges
Bake for 20 minutes
DOUGH RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 box of yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/4 cUp oil
1/4 cup milk
Instructions:
Mix with mixer and add flour until dough is thick enough to roll.
Roll and put in pir pan
